Reclaimed timber, finish carpentry and outdoor structures — crafted by hand for homes, cabins and studios that are meant to age well.
Projected Growth is a small carpentry practice for people who notice the difference. We work in reclaimed redwood, wide-plank pine and honest hardwoods — fitting every door, casing and board as if it will be looked at for the next fifty years. Because it will.
Exteriors, interiors and the details between — a selection of recent work across homes, studios and lake houses.

From a single pantry to a full studio exterior — scoped carefully, built once, built right.
Salvaged redwood and barn board installed as siding, gables and accent walls — weathered character, modern weather-tightness.
Pre-hung French, entry and fire-rated doors set plumb and square, with casing to match the house.
Casing, base, wainscoting and trim in pine, fir and reclaimed stock — the details that make a room feel finished.
Wide-plank pine and hardwood floors laid, stained and finished to wear in beautifully.
Pantries, closets, shelving and cabinetry made to fit the space — and the way you actually live in it.
New builds and full rebuilds — lakeside decks, covered porches and studio walkways designed for decades outdoors.
Reclaimed lumber is denser, more stable and more beautiful than most of what's on the yard today. Every board carries a history — nail holes, saw marks, a century of weather — and we build so that history shows.
When new stock is the right call, we choose it with the same care: clear fir for casing, wide pine for floors, treated framing where the weather demands it.
Good carpentry is quiet. You notice it most in the years it doesn't need fixing.
A clear process, a written agreement and steady communication — so there are no surprises except good ones.
